How Dollar Per Month™ Works

Each month, Dollar Per Month™ (DPM™) selects three charities for you to vote on.  DPM™ posts information about the charities to help you evaluate each and make your decision. DPM™ has already carefully investigated and evaluated all three charities to ensure the charities are reputable, legitimate, making a positive impact on the world and that the vast majority of donations will go directly to the cause.  After reviewing the charities, you vote for your favorite charity.  The winning charity receives 50% of the community donations, the 2nd charity receives 30%, and the 3rd charity receives 20% – no charity loses!

How Charities are Selected 

Charities are selected based on financial responsibility, disclosure, and actually making a difference.  Only charities where the vast majority of donations go directly to the cause are chosen.

The Voting System

At the beginning of each month, three new charities are available for you to evaluate. After reviewing the charities, you vote for your favorite charity. The winning charity receives 50% of the community donations, the 2nd charity receives 30%, and the 3rd charity receives 20% – no charity loses

The Social Impact Score™

The Social Impact Score™ is a measure of your impact on the world through your charitable actions and donations. When someone joins because of you, they are added to your Social Impact Score™. It’s fun and rewarding to see that good things are happening in the world because you took the time to become involved and to involve your friends and family.
