DOLLAR PER MONTH IS BLOGGING!

Why would two cousins from Seattle start a charity voting site to shine the spotlight on other charities? Dollarpermonth.org was started as a way for the Facebook generation and those new to charitable giving to be able to make a difference and make their donation matter, no matter how big or small. DollarPerMonth does the research and makes it easy for you to be a part of the bigger picture. Each month, three charities are featured to bring new donors to their sites and for you to “invest” in, by voting on the charity that speaks to you. It’s a fun and easy way to give to worthy charities. Many of us would like to donate but we are held back. We don’t know where to start and aren’t always sure how much of a difference our donation will make. DPM highlights the charities with a description, slideshow and video from each charity to give you a concise snapshot of what their mission is and to give you an understanding of what they are doing to affect real change.

You become a member of DPM and determine the amount that is best for you to contribute each month. Even a dollar can help make an impact! As a member, all you have to do is click on the charity you want to vote for and your vote helps determine how the total donations to the site will be split among the charities. This is a great way over the course of the year to be introduced to 36 new charities and how they are each making the world a better place in their own unique ways.
